Recycled Airplane Furniture

MotoArt Mile High Bed

There has been a lot of talk lately about luxury sleeping facilities aboard luxury airline planes, but now you can pretend you’re the pilot and have your own swanky bed made from authentic airplane parts, right in the comfort of your own home.

The ‘Mile High Bed’, the latest design from the boys from MotoArt, is, "a prime example of how you can give wings to your desires and take off to the land of fantasies," says The Design Blog.

The bed has plenty of lounging space, measuring 11’ x 7’6". The headboard is an inner flap from a C-130 military cargo jet and the side rails are DC-9 rear stabilizers. I did not make these names up!
