Birds Eye is Launching New Recycled Vegetable Packs

Frozen foods are only continuing to increase in popularity but are often contained inside packaging that is intended to be thrown away, so Birds Eye has pledged to change this with the announcement of new recycled vegetable packs.

The packaging move will see the brand's vegetable products being contained in material that is ready to be recycled after use to keep it out of the landfill. This will reportedly keep 379 tonnes of non-recyclable material out of the market each year and push consumers to choose products with a more sustainable profile.

The new recyclable vegetable packs are being launched now across the Birds Eye’s Field Fresh range including Garden Peas & Sweetcorn, Supersweet Sweetcorn, Select Mixed Vegetables, Country Mixed Vegetables and more.
