Skateboard Stairs

Recycling at Roartocket Skateboard School

What happens to old skateboards when they are totally cratered? They become watches, or rings, or stair steps. At Roartocket Skateboard School (check it out - it’s in Toronto!) they decided that stair steps made of old skateboards would be the way to go.

Nixon also decided to use skateboard decks to make a very cool watch called the Rotolog RePly.

Recycling these is a great idea as its estimated that 100,000 decks a month enter the waste stream in the U.S. alone.
