Ole Marius Joergensen created realistic superhero images in which Superman fails, falls and gets up again. We rarely see these type of depictions for superheroes who rarely fail and are always full of power.
Instead, Joergensen has given us a collection of humanized versions of Superman. Some images depict him wrapped around a tree or buried in snow after a failed attempt to fly. Other images have Superman still on the ground attempting to fly, even climbing up stairs to get a flying start.
The series called 'No. Superman' is a heartwarming interpretation of the Man of Steel, based on the realistic struggles of normal people. Joergensen wanted to create a more relatable version of the superhero and promote the notion that failure is necessary to attain our goals.
