'Me In My Place' Captures Photos of Natural Beauty & Hideaways

Debuting in May 2010, 'Me In My Place' is a photo project that shows real girls in their places -- their homes, apartments, offices etc. Ranging from completely clothed to semi-nude, the photos are tastefully done and display women of various shapes, sizes, ethnicities, and social spheres.

Quickly catching the eye of Esquire Magazine, the photographer (who remains anonymous online) was asked to do a MIMP shoot for the mag, featuring famous actresses including Sarah Shahi (The L Word, Fairly Legal), Caity Lotz (Mad Men) and Natalie Zea (Justified), among others.

Operating through Tumblr, the website has garnered thousands of followers, with its popularity growing by the day. The site features a different girl as the model every two to three weeks, with each one receiving an introduction revealing little details and quirks about them. The project is both personal and intimate, and is a refreshing take on the representation of female beauty. For more photos, check out the Me In My Place website.
