The Ready Made Curtain turns the art of window coverings into an easy project. Once dreaded for all of the technicalities that go into choosing the perfect color to mounting it properly, this drapery kit saves the stress for something a little more worthwhile.
Created by French design brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec in collaboration with Danish textile experts Kvadrat, the Ready Made Curtain comes with all of the necessary pieces to put it together in a cinch. The wooden fittings attach to the wall and then linked together with the provided cord. Opaque or semi-translucent swaths of fabric are them hung on the now-taut cord thanks to a set of wooden pegs. The Ready Made curtain is available in red, blue and white.
