Chinese electric bike company Fiido has revealed its latest range of folding e-bikes, bearing some similarities to their predecessor, the DLL, but with several key upgrades including a range of 130 kilometers.
The X and X Lite variants of Fiido's latest folding e-bikes are each capable of attaining a top speed of 25 km/h in addition to 29.5 pounds-feet of torque, with the inclusion of smart torque sensors enabling a more controlled riding experience. Elsewhere, another notable upgrade is the incorporation of LED lighting into the frame, so that users don't have to worry about attaching lights manually.
However, the most eyecatching and useful feature of these folding e-bikes is the fact that their folding mechanism and associated cables are all integrated into the frame. Whereas these e-bikes measures in at 150 x 100 x 58 cm when they're being used on the roads ,they fold down to a compact 84 x 59 x 40 cm when folded.
Set to be made available for pre-order on crowdfunding website Indiegogo, these folding e-bikes promise convenience and compact transportation in the urban environment.
