The Rainbow Side Table by Nathan Day is Colorfully Playful

One of two things may first come to mind when setting eyes on the Rainbow Side Table. People may either think that it was created for Rainbow Brite or they will hazard a guess that it was inspired by the Rock-a-Stack toy by Fisher-Price. For those who leaned toward the latter, a pat on the back is in order. The Rainbow Side Table comes apart quite like the children's toy.

Designed by Nathan Day, a bespoke furniture maker from Yallingup, Western Australia, the Rainbow Side Table may recall the classic game's shape and form, but from there everything else is different. The top and base are made out of sophisticated Jarrah wood instead of plastic while the donuts are carved from solid timber.
