Rad Power Bikes Unveiled the RadExpand 5 Electric Folding Bike

Rad Power Bikes, the China-based electric bike manufacturer with a large presence across North America, unveiled the 'RadExpand 5,' its fifth-generation foldable e-bike. The RadExpand 5 improves on its predecessor in the areas of ergonomics, performance, and portability.

The ergonomics of the RadExpand 5 are now even more customizable, with the handlebars and seat able to be rotated and height-adjusted in order to best compliment the rider. Additionally, the bike weighs nearly five pounds less than the fourth iteration, making it even more portable than the already lightweight RadExpand 4. The total weight of the fifth generation foldable is only 62.5 pounds.

In terms of its raw performance, the RadExpand 5 boasts a 672 Wh battery and a 500W motor that delivers a top speed of 32 km/h and a maximum range of 40 to 72 km based on the riding conditions. The RadExpand 5 costs $1,849 CAD and is available online at Rad Power Bikes' website.
