A QI Wireless Charger Get a Fresh New Look with a Cork Finish

Normally, it can be difficult to find a QI wireless charger that isn't bulky and made out of solid plastic. Victor Johansson of Objects and Interactions wasn't having it so he came up with this prototype which tones down the crass shiny plastic with a natural cork layer.

Surprisingly, this small touch makes a world of a difference in the way the gadget charger appears, taking it from a boring square sitting on the desk to a sleeker piece that is more aesthetically pleasing. The natural element of the pale cork creates a zen feeling that we are often robbed of in many tech-focused products.

Victor Johansson plans on further improving his QI wireless charger prototype design by slimming down the overall bulk of the gadget.
