The Smog Free Tower Stylishly Cleanses the City Air with Architecture

The Smog Free Tower designed by the talented Daan Roosegaarde and Bob Ursem is an innovative eco building design that focuses on purifying air in urban landscapes. The tower was designed in a collaborative effort with European Nano Solutions as a way to keep the air clean and smog-free in busy cities.

The Smog Free Tower is essentially a metallic building that stands at 23-feet in height. The building is made from what appears to be a series of slates giving it a modern aesthetic. The tower is able to effectively clean one million cubic feet of air per hour greatly reducing the smog developing in cities on hot, humid days in mere hours. The Smog Free Tower cleans the air's smog particles by ionizing them in a series of chambers located inside the structure's design.
