Trader Joe's is officially celebrating the arrival of fall by releasing a range of pumpkin-flavored products, including its Honey Roasted Pumpkin Ravioli.
The brightly colored pasta product naturally gets its brilliant hue from annatto and turmeric and boasts a design that is described as "radiant red-orange on one side with a more muted tone on the flip—like the outside and inside of an actual pumpkin."
The outer durum wheat flour casing protects a filling that includes a rich blend of real pumpkin, honey, sugar and molasses, plus ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. To top it all off, the filling also includes some traditional autumn spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, which are known for having flavors that are warming, sweet and comforting.
