Pokémon is finishing off its 25th-anniversary celebrations with a new footwear collaboration with PUMA. The release comprises five sneaker silhouettes inspired by the starter Pokémon from the Kanto region: Squirtle, Pikachu, Bulbasaur, and Charmander. Pikachu and Bulbasaur are featured on the ‘PUMA Rider FV,’ Charmander is on the ‘PUMA Slipstream Lo’ basketball shoes, and Squirtle appears on the ‘PUMA Suedes’ with frosty transparent bottoms.
Each Pokemon’s element type is displayed on the heel tabs, while adorable graphics of their faces are spread throughout the tongue tabs, charms, and co-branded insoles. Additional features include Pokédex numbers printed on the inside side of the tongues. All of the silhouettes take on the signature colors of the Pokémon they are inspired by.
On November 12, PUMA, Footlocker, and a few other shops will stock the five Pokémon x PUMA models in adult and youth sizes.
