Swinging Sixties Spreads

Westeast Magazine's 'Psychedelic Lover' Editorial Has a Twiggy Appeal

WestEast Magazine's 'Psychedelic Lover' editorial mirrors the looks and allure of classic 1960s fashion in many respects. Dutch model Gwen Loos' exaggerated eye makeup is reminiscent of the cosmetic looks sported by Twiggy here, also known as the decades ultimate it girl who pioneered a timeless style sense.

Psychedelic Lover was taken by the photography duo Yuji Oboshi and Mari Maeda. The pale backdrops chosen by the pair helped to offset stylist Debbie Hsieh's selection of glamorous vintage apparel, bringing forth a done up Loos in bold floral patterns, glittering full length pieces and large wooden heels. Loos has taken on the best of swinging sixties apparel here, and given WestEast Magazine's up and coming brand, this was certainly a well-informed choice.
