High-End Imposter Pranks

A Psy Impersonator Tricked the Organizers of Cannes Film Festival 2013

Apparently pranks aren't just for laughs; this Psy impersonator got two days of VIP service at the 2013 Cannes Film Fetsival, being escorted by security to beach restaurants and exclusive parties.

The Gangnam Style singer attained access to festival parties and events, posed for photos with the public as well as with other celebrities. Skyfall's Naomie Harris tweeted a photo of the two together. Photo service FilmMagic labeled snapshots of the man as Psy, but quickly changed the labels after news broke out that the man was not Psy. Organizers, fest-goers and celebs alike seem to have been completely fooled.

Meanwhile, the real Psy has been busy with recordings. He tweeted in response to this mishap: "Seems like there's another ME at cannes ... say Hi to him." Using a celebrity's name and fame for fun wasn't too hard for this man, having such similar appearance as the real deal.
