Drekker Unveiled Its PRRRT Series Featuring Two Sour Ales

North Dakota-based craft brewery, Drekker, recently expanded its portfolio with the launch of the new PRRRT series that includes two sour ales -- the After School PRRRT ale and the PRRRTs These Days ale, both of which make use of an unusual ingredient: candy.

The After School PRRRT is a sour ale formulated with nostalgic '90s candies 'Gushers' and 'Fruit by the Foot,' as well as sweet ingredients including pineapple, plum, strawberry, raspberry, passion fruit, lactose sugar, and vanilla beans. The PRRRTs These Days, on the other hand, was brewed using another iconic candy: 'Sour Patch Kids,' alongside lemon, lime, orange, raspberry, pink guava, and sea salt for a tart ale complemented by sweetness.
