Prototipo Chronograph by Officine Autodromo Embraces Spirit of Racing

When it comes to the golden age of sports car racing, people might not have thought that a watch such as those making up the Prototipo Chronograph series would work as a tribute. Yet they do beautifully. Specifically inspired by the late 60s and early 70s, the timepieces boast barrel cases and retro color palettes that are as nostalgic as they are chic.

Designed by Bradley Price, founder of Officine Autodromo, the Prototipo Chronograph series nevertheless balances vintage with modern touches that include a sleek profile, stainless steel case and an energetic dial. Price says, "Each watch feels like it could have existed in the past, but there are very modern accents, especially visible when looking up close."
