Designer Parfums' Glass Bottles are Housed in Printed Exoskeletons

Auto racing class Formula 1 partnered with Designer Parfums to create a collection of high-end scents in 3D-printed perfume packaging. At the core of the designs is a glass bottle that's encased in an imaginative resin-based shell made with a 3D printing process. In all, there are five limited-edition scents to discover, which are set to be launched as of April 2020. The collaboration between Formula 1 and Designer Parfums is fusing high-tech innovations with the sport’s heritage in a unique way.

While 3D printing is being used to create various packaging designs for beauty products like mascara applicators and face masks, Designer Parfums is setting itself apart as one of the few fragrance brands that is venturing into the creation of 3D-printed perfume bottles.
