The Prado Restaurant in Lisbon Offers Farm-to-Table Cuisine

Set on one of Lisbon's narrow cobbled streets, the Prado Restaurant is an elegantly balanced space with an ingredient-led farm-to-table menu that was inspired by the design of the building itself.

The abandoned 19th-century factory used to candy fruit and was left abandoned for 20 years, creating a worn-down look with verdant vegetation wrapped all over the space and hanging down from the ceilings. The design team added more vegetation, as well as copper accents and modern furniture to create a unique interior that feeds off the original space. All of the food is seasonal and local to Portugal, creating a sustainable yet delicious menu.
