This Portable LED Lamp Emits Some Seriously Intense Light

The Tack is a high-tech and elegantly designed portable LED lamp that is capable of being installed without the need for irritating tools. This particular lamp, invented by Matthew Lim, can be dimmed and manipulated to be optimized for a wide variety of lighting situations.

Described by Lim as "a multifunctional home lighting system designed for simplicity, adaptability and modernity," the 23 x 6 x 7 cm lamp is only about as small as a water bottle and can easily be carried and transported in a bag. The lamp is capable of pumping out as much as 1200 lumens of light, making it comfortably over twice as bright as regular task lights.
