To give consumers a glimpse of what the supermarkets of the future will look like, Honey Nut Cheerios is hosting a two-day pop-up grocery store on Toronto's Queen Street.
Honey Nut Cheerios' grocery store of the future is part of the brand's #BringBackTheBees campaign, which aims to highlight the need to protect our bee populations. To emphasis the importance of protecting bees, the brand's pop-up grocery store will highlight how "one in three bites of food [would be] missing from store shelves and items that we take for granted [would be] scarce or completely missing," if bees were to disappear. This means not just an absence of the brand's beloved cereal, but also fresh fruits, vegetables and a number of other staples.
Set to run from March 11th to 12th, the pop-up supermarket gives Canadians a rare opportunity to observe the changes in our food system.
