Ghostly Layered Typefaces

Moritz Resl Stacked Popular Typefaces to Create the Ultimate Font

There are many popular typefaces out there for illustrators, writers and graphic designers to use, but can you really choose just one? Now thanks to Moritz Resl you can choose to use The Average Font, a typeface that layers hundreds of often used fonts overtop of one another to create one ultimate font.

The Average Font is a collaborative work that pulls together the aesthetic look of a wide variety of typefaces. Over 900 fonts were stacked on top of one another to create The Average Font. The layered look of all these similar typefaces created an interesting ghost-like shadowing caused by the slight difference in font sizes. The Average Font is meant to be the median between each of these 900 fonts.
