Reservoir has joined Labelnoir to release a limited-edition watch, inspired by the popular comic and television show Popeye the Sailor Man. This marks the second time that Reservoir has done a comic-inspired watch, with the first launched alongside Blake & Mortimer. As this watch is part of a limited-edition run, there will only be 200 units available to the public.
The comic-inspired watch consists of a 41.5mm titanium case with satin-finish gray DLC. The outside front cover of the case has the Popeye family featured together with their names tagged closely for reference. The dial of the watch displays the Popeye character at the center and his extended arm moves as the minute hand. As for the usual hour markers, they contain Arabic numbers in intervals of ten to display running minutes. In addition, the tony window at the six o’clock mark displays the hour. In regards to the strap, it is gray-colored with red and gray stitching. The watch is currently available for purchase at $4,450.
