Polluted Art Galleries

This Pop-Up Gallery Exclusively Features Art Made with Air Pollution

The 'Clean Air Gallery' is a unique pop-up gallery from beer brand Tiger Beer and the co-founder of Graviky Labs, Anirudh Sharma, which offers a commentary on air quality in London.

All of the art pieces within the small gallery were created with air pollution, thanks to Air-Ink technology, which captures 95% of carbon soot from sources like exhausts. Although the message shared on air pollution might seem somber, the installation helps to provide a hopeful look at a brighter future with cleaner air.

The pop-up gallery was set up in Brixton, an area that surpassed its annual air pollution limit just five days into 2017. The Air-Ink initiative will also be shared across other major destinations in New York, Berlin and Singapore.
