The 'Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Masque' from Kiehl's is one of several new personal care products that's been released with a focus on addressing the effects of poor environmental conditions on one's skin.
In a study conducted by the brand, the product was found to be effective at removing 84% of micro-particles, "and 76% of users showed an inhibition of cigarette smoke pollution and UVA-induced oxidation."
For use, the brand recommends using the mask about three times a week as part of one's nightly skincare routine. It only needs to be applied to a clean face for about five minutes before the majority of it can be wiped away, with just a thin, protective layer left behind to hydrate and protect skin overnight.
