Harper's Bazaar ran an article in the magazine's February issue called "Dressing Mrs. President" which light-heartedly pokes fun at Hillary Clinton's fashion sense.
In the article, top designers, as well as famed political fashion critic Robin Givhan, give America's would-be first female president fashion tips.
The article shows cleverly Photoshopped images of the Democratic presidential hopeful wearing designer outfits that include a sparkly black skirt and jacket suit with a beret, a white taffeta mini dress with torn white fishnets and silver-colored mini skirts among other outfits.
For those who don't know, Givhan is a controversial fashion writer for the Washington Post who, in July 2007, critiqued Clinton's fashion choices at her July 18 speech.
"Givhan said Sen. Clinton's slightly V-shaped neckline was 'unnerving' and 'startling,' especially for a woman 'who has been so publicly ambivalent about style, image and the burdens of both.' She added, '[I]t was more like catching a man with his fly unzipped. Just look away!'" Wikipedia explains.
"Givhan has made a reputation for being blunt. In an interview on writers who cover the fashion industry, Givhan told CBS News, 'There are a lot of people who sort of say that something is good or important or progressive or edgy when in fact, it's just crappy. And no one will just say it's crappy,' Givhan states bluntly.' She added, 'I'll also say when I think something is absolutely magnificent.'"
This is, off course, is just a spoof on the part of Harper's Bazaar. But do you see Hillary wearing any of these get ups? I totally don't.
