Polaroid Lab Uses Mirrors to Produce Physical Polaroids

The Polaroid Lab is able to use light from a person's phone screen in order to produce Polaroids form digital photos. Polaroid had tested the idea a few years ago but has since brought the Polaroid Lab back. The device is priced at $129 and will be available to consumers beginning on October 10th.

The unit is a tower that can be used alongside the Polaroid app to produce physical photos. The app works with any iPhone model after the 6S, as well as current Samsung, Huawei, Google Pixel and One Plus devices. Polaroid Labs works by using light form a phone screen that gets reflected off of a series of mirrors to produce a photo. The system is compatible with I-Type as well as 600 series films.
