Please Chase Me is a series of temporary art installation that mimic the road signs in the areas they are placed in. Unlike the common road sign, however, these ones relay clever and creative observations about life, people and more. For instance, in one desolate setting, a series of Please Chase Me signs read, "We're fighting so hard to survive in a place we don't want to live." Another one affixed to a post under a cross reads, "We are Christians."
Put together by American artist Joel Ross, the Please Chase Me series is not sanctioned by anyone and so often disappear soon after they are displayed either by authorities or citizens. Ross writes, "A series of photographs of these installations and related works on paper become a record of these events as well as the primary point of engagement with their second audience, the art-going public."
