The PlayStation 3D Display is Designed for Gamers on a Budget

Sony is making waves at E3 2011 with the unveiling of its new portable, but the company is also raising a few eyebrows with its new PlayStation 3D Display. The display measures 24-inches, is PlayStation-branded (a first) and has a full-screen display that can support up to two players.

I would be lying if I said that I wasn't excited about this display's ability to support two full-screens at the same time. As a gamer, you always want to play online with your friends, but using a split-screen display is often a deal-breaker. Thankfully, the PlayStation 3D Display will remedy that issue, and allow gamers to enjoy 3D games without ponying up the cash for a 3D TV.

The PlayStation 3D Display comes with one pair of 3D glasses and will be priced at $500. No release date as of yet, but the Sony has said that the display will be available sometime in autumn.
