Plastic-Free Doll Packaging

Zapf Creation Asked Its Young Fans' Input on Single-Use Plastic

Zapf Creation, the maker of Baby Annabell and BABY born, is transitioning to plastic-free doll packaging. Released for Earth Day, a new video from the brand shares how its young fans view plastic. Zapf's video makes it clear that young children understand the impact that single-use plastic has on the planet, as many expressed concern for animals and waste pileup.

As part of its pledge to go plastic-free, the brand is phasing out its traditional transparent window boxes and it will replace single-use plastic with closed box designs. Within the boxes, items like cable ties and plastic bags will be traded for paper packaging alternatives.

By fall 2022, the company hopes to have its entire range be free from plastic packaging.
