'Iain Baxter&'s' Plastic Wrap Art Covers Everything in This House

This 2013 plastic wrap art piece by conceptual Canadian artist 'Iain Baxter&' features the rooms of an old house and all of its contents covered in plastic sheets.

After the death of Rebecca Levy in 2009, her home and possessions were donated to the Raven Row, a "non-profit contemporary art exhibition centre." The installation is made to perfectly preserve Rebecca's belongings just as she'd left them. Since Rebecca was the only occupant of the house since 1918, it is almost like you'd be able to get to know Rebecca just by walking around her house and observing the objects she chose to bring into it.

As if this concept isn't already unsettling enough to some, anyone who's awaiting the Dexter series finale will recognize that this treatment bears an eerie resemblance to one of Dexter's "kill rooms."
