Alpine Provisions is Switching to Lightweight Aluminum Packaging

As part of a new repackaging initiative, Alpine Provisions is introducing entirely plastic-free body care product packaging, helping to replace its plastic hand-sanitizer, hair care and liquid soap bottles with lightweight and sustainable aluminum. While it's estimated that only about 7% of all the plastic made has been recycled, 84% of all the aluminum ever made is still in use today. As well as making an impact by switching to a more sustainable material, Alpine Provisions will also be reducing its carbon emissions by lightening the load of shipping its products.

Alpine Provisions Founder and CEO Joshua Scott Onysko says, "Our hope is that this will begin an industry-wide revolution."
