Pixelated Naughty to Sell Shoes

Sneaky Digitalized Photography by Christophe Gilbert

We have recently seen nudevertising being used to sell shoes by photographers Paul Graves and David Ellingsen. But while those photographers had to carefully take the shots from strategic angles to ensure that the images are appropriate for use in magazines, photographer Christophe Gilbert throws everything into the wind and liberally snaps pictures of the models in all their glory.

How does he get away with that? He wittingly pixelates the image in a way that communicates what the image is about without actually revealing it. Naturally, the shoes are left intact and not pixelated, which brings the focus of the eye on them.

As a bonus, we included a few more inspired artistic nudity pictures that showcase Christophe’s brilliance.
