Pink Tartan Spring 2013 Brings Back Crop Tops and High Waisted Skirts

Kimberley Newport-Mimran debuted the Pink Tartan Spring 2013 runway show at World Mastercard Fashion Week in Toronto last night. The collection looks like structured goods one might find in the depths of their fashionably hip grandmother's closet. The collection hones in on high waisted skirts and cropped bustiers, exposing the tiniest of midriffs. The pastel collection featured large buttons, butterfly coats and metallic fabrics. This 60s-inspired runway left onlookers starstruck as top model Charlotte Free opened the show with her stunning long blonde to pink ombre hair.

The Pink Tartan Spring 2013 collection payed homage to the fabulous resort life of the 1960s era. Kimberley collaborated with Aldo Shoes for the footwear of the show, which will debut in Aldo stores in early spring of next year. Kimberley also collaborated with Lara Vincent to create the fascinators for the show.
