The Pink Mosque is a Colorful Way to Celebrate Religion

The pink mosque is doing something that hasn't been done before. The mosque lights up like a prismatic kaleidoscope through the use of carefully colored stain glass windows. The result is a vibrant reminder that practicing religion in a mosque doesn't have to be dreary and boring, it can be fun and uplifting.

The mosque is called the Nasir al-Mulk Mosque and is set up in Shiraz Iran. When looking at the mosque initially it looks much like a normal mosque but that is just form the outside.

Stain glass windows aren't new but the implementation of them in this mosque makes them create disco-esque colors on the floors and walls when the un hits it the right way. The colors show up best in the morning because of how the mosque is set up.
