Juun.J's Oversized Collection Takes Inspiration from Pilot Suits

Korean fashion designer Juun.J borrowed from the appearance of traditional pilot suits for his Spring/Summer 2017 collection.

The looks make use of greatly oversized styles, with sleeves extending well past the hands of models and hemlines on some dropping down past the knees. Models wear unconventional hairstyles and slightly dazed expressions -- giving the streetwear an aura of nonchalance that makes the styles attractive to its Millennial male consumer base.

It's instantly clear that the collection is made from thick high-quality materials, with the firm structure of the pieces evident despite being oversized. Juun.J's inspiration from pilot suits is shown through the inclusion of the flight apparel's technical aspects, as well as the neutral color choices.
