Photoshopped Concept Cars

Chrysler GEM Peapod Contest

Even auto blogs can toss their hats into the Photoshop contest ring, as Jalopnik demonstrates with their social lampooning of the hideous Chrysler GEM 'Peapod.' I'm all for eco-friendly automobiles, but my tastes trend more towards the Tesla than this.

Billed by Chrysler CEO Bob Nardelli as an "electric vehicle for gated communities," the GEM Peapod's silly oval shape and permagrin grille leave something to be desired in the aesthetics department. I'm glad it got Photoshopped, especially with some of the equally juvenile designs seen in this gallery.
