Aerial Tulip Captures

These Photos of Tulip Fields Are Spectacular

Gloucestershire, England-based travel photographer captured these magnificent photographs of the famed tulip fields of the Netherlands from high up above. When viewed at without context, the photos almost look like abstract paintings. With their blossoms not viewable from up high, the photos make the fields look like abstract pieces of art.

The tulips are made miniature before being arranged in grids, lines and stripes with individual flowers giving way to larger geometric patterns.

Adams decided to put together this photo series when he first came across tulip fields in Northern Netherlands and deciding he wanted to see the same scene from an aerial vantage point. He then kept tabs on the tulip season before going back just before their harvest.
