Tinder's Photo Verified Cuties Initiates Video Selfie Procedures

Tinder is rolling out the new Photo Verified Cuties club which prompts users to participate in a video selfie procedure to verify their identity. To do this, users just need to send a recorded video of themselves in the app using the front camera.

Additionally, users are also able to ask a match to verify themselves before they are allowed to send a message as well. If there is currently a verification check mark to a profile, Tinder will also be asking users to re-verify using a video self within the upcoming months according to the company. It also acts as a safety process to help users avoid scams, but it is not a forced process at all.
