Philanthrocapitalism Claims to be the Future of Business & Social Good

'Philanthrocapitalism: How Giving Can Save the World' is a book written by Matthew Bishop and Michael Green and also includes a foreword by Bill Clinton in its newest edition. Bishop and Green also wrote the 2011 book 'The Road from Ruin: How to Revive Capitalism and Put America Back on Top' together.

This begs the question of whether or not capitalism can truly "save the world" in the broadest sense and furthermore, whether or not the United States can really be at the center of it all. (But isn't the U.S. at the center of everything?) Philanthrocapitalism is also a website and resource that promotes similar ideas.
