Modular Personal Watercrafts

The Low-Cost 'BomBoard' Can Be Assembled in 60 Seconds

The BomBoard is the world's only modular personal watercraft. It consists of four modular components, the heaviest of which weighs only 36 kg. The BomBoard can be easily disassembled, stored in the most compact spaces and transported in cars -- no trailer is necessary. Once the user reaches their destination, they can assemble the personal watercraft in a matter of minutes.

The BomBoard is versatile in that it can be ridden in a kneeling, standing or go-cart-like sitting position. It combines high speed (its top speed is 40 mph) with a low weight (its total assembled weight is only 150 pounds). This combination makes for a fast and responsive ride.

The BomBoard costs less than $3,500 partly due to the fact that it's small and requires a relatively small engine. The engine is fuel efficient however, and works for several hours on only a few gallons of gasoline.
