This Personal Resort is Divided in Block Form

The 'Nova Lima House' by architects S+A Brazil is more of a palatial personal resort than your typical vacation residence.

The sprawling complex is allocated over four separate blocks, each designed for a specific purpose. The first block is comprised of eight -- yes, eight -- bedroom suites, a studio and restrooms, while the second contains a massive home cinema and swimming pool. Just the bare essentials, obviously. Block three is made up of a kitchen, spa and play area for children. Finally, the staff quarters can be found in block four, which also boasts a private residence within it. Yes, a residence within a residence, you did read that right.

The home's interior is made up of rich ochres and warm umbres, largely achieved by the Canga de Minerios stone featured throughout the walls. Hardwood floors and a latticed metal roof inlaid with glass meant to reduce the sun's glare complete the residence.
