Harmonious Holiday Clothing Commercials

The New Gap Ad Shows Kids and Adults in Perfect Harmony

As part of its ongoing 'Meet Me in the Gap' campaign, the Gap has created a new holiday spot that shows people of all ages singing along in perfect harmony.

For the first of its new holiday spots, the Gap enlisted the help of actress and singer Janelle Monae to show how fashion and music can bring people together. Set to the tune of Freddie Scott's 'You Got What I Need,' the ad shows men, women, and children all singing along and dancing in perfect harmony. Adding to the fun and cheerful spirit of the singalong, each member of the choir is dressed in matching Gap sweaters. As Monae explains, the holiday commercial is intended to reflect "the idea that although we may be from different parts of the world, when we come together, we can create something magical."
