DIY Candy Cane Shooters

These Edible Peppermint Shot Glasses are Made Using Red and White Candies

If you love your booze but wanted to drink in a way that was festive but more original than eggnog, these peppermint shot glasses are a great option.

From Cheri Albert at The Watering Mouth blog, the DIY Peppermint Shot Cups are made out of red and white mint candies rather than candy canes as they created a more uniform product. Of course, you can also use the small cups as a vessel for non-alcoholic liquids as well, meaning kids can drink from them once they've cooled. Cheri notes it is important the liquid you put in has to be the same temperature as the glass. So if you were thinking ice cold vodka, the shooter will need to be refrigerated first.
