Illusory Nature-Inspired Fonts

This Black Pen Typography is a Work of Art

Illustrators Florian Meacci and Mathieu Gazaix have collaborated on an artistic project and the result is this beautiful hand-drawn black pen typography. They created these detailed letters simply using black biro pens.

Each letter is a work of art on its own. They creatively included negative space to make each piece pop out. The letter ‘S’ for example refers to forest imagery with a deer gracefully peering through the frame of the letter as his antlers become one with the letter’s curves. The incredible amount of detail in these ABCs make it seem as though they were computer-made.

The artists took turns drawing the letters and yet their two different drawing styles seamlessly blend together to create this font that’s truly worthy of a creative mind. The font was showcased in France.
