Tudor Released a 39mm Pelagos Timepiece for Small Dial Fans

Tudor unveiled the 'Pelagos 39,' a new iteration of its iconic Pelagos titanium timepiece. The Pelagos 39, as the name suggests, features a 39mm case, as opposed to the 42mm case on the original Pelagos. This results in a more compact dial that fits more nicely on customers with smaller wrists, particularly where a 42mm case appears far too large. This allows Tudor to market the Pelagos 39 to a wider market that previously would not have considered the watch.

The Pelagos 39 also features a slimmer case and a thinner link wrist bracelet as a result of its shortened case diameter. In addition to this, the Pelagos 39 includes a Calibre 5400 movement, which is more size-efficient than the Calibre 5612 found in the Pelagos 42. Despite this, the 5400 still maintains a high level of accuracy with minimal loss in seconds per day.

One of the most attractive features of the Pelagos 39 is that it boasts a 70-hour power reserve, meaning the watch does not need to be recalibrated each time the owner decides to wear it.
