The 'Pay & Sit' Park Bench Makes You Pay to Take a Load Off

Fabian Brunsing is a Berlin-based photographer, designer and artist that has created the ‘Pay & Sit’ park bench. The idea behind this park bench is that because it is supplied by a private enterprise, the owner would pay rent to the city, which would reduce taxes for everyone.

To prevent people from sitting, the ‘Pay & Sit’ has spikes that prevent people from sitting on it. Once you insert a coin, the spikes disappear making for a pain-free bench experience.
