The Paws for the Cause Gala 2011 Featured Four-Legged Friend Fashions

It may be called a catwalk, but it looks like it’s a smarter move style-wise to have it run by Rover, after the Paws for the Cause Gala 2011 displayed a dynamic line-up of dapperly dressed dogs.

The Toronto-based non-profit organization for pooches holds events like the gala to raise money for advanced veterinary healthcare in order to provide precious pups with the highest level of medical love. The fashion show portion of the evening featured celebrity walkers leading adorable hounds that strutted with tail-wagging swagger while decked out in Philip Sparks and Babies & Beasts designs. The event raised a whopping total of $75,000, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to education assistance for future and current veterinary students.

The Paws for the Cause Gala 2011 has the dogs on double duty not only acting as man’s best friend, but also as man’s best charitably charming fashion accessory!
