Standing proud in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fort Diemerdam in Amsterdam, this building is an architectural marvel. The structure was inspired by its surrounding landscape's curvaceous greenery. Undulating walls seem to climb towards the heavens and are constructed of wooden shingles to showcase a seamless harmony between the design and its surroundings. "Due to its curved shape it will change colour gradually, soft like nature, without sharp edges or hard lines," says architect Marten de Jong.
