Paul's Table Blends Plant-Based Meat & Animal Components

Paul's Table is a new venture by Saba Fazeli, the first R&D engineer at Beyond Meat, and it blends plant protein with "the best parts of meat." As the brand describes on its site, "After five years at leading plant-based meat companies, we realized two key things. One, that meat alternatives today don’t have a clear path toward improving quality and decreasing cost. And two, that the 96% of Americans who eat meat aren’t interested in products that taste worse, cost more, and are no healthier than the real thing."

The brand's hybrid approach offers up products that are 90% plant-based thanks to ingredients like soy and brown rice, plus collagen and fat from animals. These blended meat products are available in varieties like Sweet & Smokey and Hot & Tangy pulled pork.
